The Future Direction Network is pleased to announce that applications for its 2025 scholarship are now open.

In 2025, FDN will again award 2 x $24,000 scholarships.

Applications are open to students from South-West Sydney who are enrolled to study at university. The scholarship recipient will also be paired with a mentor to help support, encourage and guide the student through their studies.

Each of the three scholarships are valued at $8,000 per annum over three years ($24,000 total value), commencing in 2025.

Students are encouraged to apply online at fdn.net.au/application and state their case as to why they should be awarded an FDN scholarship.

Applicants must live in South West Sydney and have completed their HSC in 2024.

Applications close 11.59pm on Friday the 31st of May 2025 with recipients announced soon thereafter.

About FDN FDN is a not-for-profit founded in 2008 by current Board member, former NRL player and Churchill Fellowship recipient Corey Payne. Despite enjoying a successful career in sport, Corey firmly believes in the power of University education to open opportunities and improve University attendance among students in South West Sydney. The mission of FDN is to inform, educate and inspire youth from South West Sydney about the importance of attending university. This is to be accomplished through mentoring programs, career pathway planning and financial assistance, by way of the FDN Scholarship.
